Amy Boyd

Software Developer at Microsoft

Twitter: @AmyKateNicho

Amy was inspired by her ICT teacher, and went on to apply to study Computer Science at the University of Sheffield. During her degree, she completed a year in industry, working at Microsoft’s search engine, Bing. Amy graduated with a first class honours and a focus on AI. She joined Microsoft as a graduate and now works as a Software Engineer. Amy believes in aiming high and never letting anyone tell you that you can’t do it. She’s inspired by the possibilities as an engineer – to be able to build new things and to change people’s lives for the better.

“Dream is such a huge word! I have an aim – to make sure that I always enjoy and seek value in the work I do.”
