Cecilia works with as part of Caroline’s team at the John Innes Centre, trying to answer the question – how do plants know and remember when in the year to flower? Cecilia combines the experimental results of other team members with mathematics, in order to make predictions that can be tested.

“I have always been interested in science, but at high school I became more interested in Mathematics and chose to do a Degree at the university. It was there that I realised that I wanted to combine Mathematics with Biology, but I also found a new love – programming!”
