PhD Student at the John Innes Centre
Danny dreams of inspiring the next generation of scientists, and our Inspiring Females stage may be just the place to do so.
Having studied Science in no fewer than three prestigious universities across England, Danny has set his vision on bacterial virulence and infections, researching the possibility of producing new control mechanisms to combat antimicrobial resistance – he says he’s trying to save the world, one pipette at a time!
Even though you’ll find him in some of the most advanced labs in the country, Danny still reflects on some words of wisdom from his old school Headteacher who told him, “Life is like a jam sandwich. The more you put in to it, the more you get out”.
