Senior Scientist at the John Innes Centre
In her role, Judith takes exciting research findings on how plants grow and applies them to economically important crops. In this way, she is able to contribute to UK food security issues and environmental issues - like reducing waste in production systems (and hence reducing their carbon footprint). Judith also interacts with researchers around the world to address common problems.
“I loved Science at school and was fascinated by the natural world. I also had inspiring teachers that made asking ‘How does that work?’ fun.”
