A love of science and writing led Sarah, armed with a degree in Physics and Philosophy, into a career in journalism. Her first job was with the Press Association, followed by a job as Press Officer for UNICEF. Sarah worked her way up within UNICEF to Head of Communications. Twelve years later and after raising a family, Sarah joined the British Antarctic Survey. Her job is all about telling people why polar science matters, and earlier this year she took a media crew to Antarctica!
“I dream of making a difference. People who fight for social justice and human rights inspire me. Climate change is a form of social injustice that I want to fight.”
